QING

Undergraduate Thesis Collection · Rope Braiding in Fashion Design

QING (清) means clarity and purity. Inspired by flowing springs, morning dew, and wind moving through grass, this three-look collection reinterprets traditional Chinese knotting as the main structure of each garment rather than a decorative detail. Every piece is hand-knotted in pure white cotton cord, combining Chinese knots with macramé techniques to create movement, texture, and a quiet sense of nature.
