Chanel
10-Year Brand Equity Strategy
On the occasion of Chanel’s second century, this strategic project proposes a 10-year brand equity roadmap grounded in the Brand Building Diamond framework. It reimagines how Chanel can strengthen brand awareness, deepen loyalty, and evolve cultural associations while preserving its connoisseur positioning. The strategy explores new frontiers in digital storytelling, global cultural relevance, and immersive luxury.

Immersive Technology and Cultural Foundations
2025-2027
Chanel embraces immersive tech and global heritage with AR/VR try-ons, livestreamed couture, and culturally inspired capsule collections. Public sustainability roadmaps build trust and transparency. These early moves engage Gen Z/Alpha through innovation while honoring artisanal roots.
Emotional Engagement and Exclusive Ecosystems
2028-2030
A deeper brand-consumer bond is built through the Chanel Privé membership, loyalty rewards across categories, and immersive pop-up experiences. Storytelling takes center stage with short form documentaries and craft-centered exhibitions, bridging luxury with meaning and memory.
Sensory Innovation and Global Human Craft
2031-2033
Innovation evolves into sensory luxury: wearable tech integrates scent and touch, while AI personalizes without replacing human artistry. Global residencies spotlight Chanel’s craftspeople, reinforcing the irreplaceable role of human connection and cultural artistry.
Cultural Preservation and Generational Continuity
2034–2035
Chanel secures its long-term leadership through cultural archiving, sustainability benchmarks, and legacy programs. The Chanel Cultural Institute and restoration services ensure the brand’s heritage, values, and creations are preserved and passed on across generations.
